Purple Cat (watercolor on 140lb Arches paper) Is an original pencil and watercolor painting of a cat and a rose.
This 8 x 10” original painting was initially created as a pet portrait where the owner decided it was best to have a black cat, and not have a purple cat as it was intended as a gift. The vibrancy and mix of purples were so beautiful I opted to create a new pet portrait rather than darken/alter this painting. I really quite love this portrait, and I hope you do too!
There is an option to include a mat that will extend the artwork to an 11 x 14” standard frame size
